Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking an LPN to join the Surgical Specialties team at M Health Fairview Clinics & Surgery Center in Minneapolis. This full-time, day-shift position offers 8-hour shifts with no weekends or holidays, generally starting between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Practical Nursing diploma from an accredited program.
• 1–3 years of LPN experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA/Red Cross).
• Minnesota LPN license required.

Responsibilities

• Support nursing process under RN supervision to deliver patient-centered care.
• Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies applicable to practice.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Observe, document, and report patient data to contribute to the care plan.
• Participate in safety, quality, and outcomes initiatives within the unit.
