Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN program.
• Clinical externship required for non-certified MA applicants without six months of experience.
• Basic Life Support certification is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care as delegated by the physician or RN.
• Perform procedures including medication administration and CPR assistance.
• Document care in the medical record and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
