Job summary

Orange Grove Center is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to support the health, safety, and well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Tennessee. The role emphasizes relationship-building, wellness, and person-centered care beyond clinical tasks.

You will provide nursing services, coordinate with physicians and care plans, document promptly, and monitor vitals. A valid TN license, clean driving record, and ability to obtain required endorsements are

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved LPN Nursing Program.
Minimum one year of LPN clinical experience preferred.
Experience working with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Valid Driver's License required.
Social Security Card required.
3-year motor vehicle report acceptable.
F endorsement on Driver's License, 30 days post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing services for assigned individuals and support direct care staff.
Communicate physician and nursing care plans to staff and implement MD/NP orders.
Assist in examination and treatment by obtaining medical history and information.
Monitor documentation and complete all required forms timely.
Transcribe information onto individuals' chart records.
Take vital signs and glucose monitoring as required by physician.
Respond to individuals in acute distress.
