Job summary

Open Arms Care in Ooltewah, TN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 7am-7pm to provide medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to medical concerns in a supportive team environment.

You’ll join a mission‑driven team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Requires TN LPN license, valid driver’s license, and readiness to obtain BLS within 30 days and PCM within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Active TN LPN license is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• PCM certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to lift and assist with mobility up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor health conditions, vital signs, and documentation.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies.
• Support physician appointments and follow physician orders.
• Train and support staff on health-related needs.
• Participate in ISPs and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Assist with daily living needs when necessary.
• Help ensure the safety, health, and well-being of individuals served.
