Job summary

Orange Grove Center is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to support the health, safety, and well-being of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Tennessee. The role emphasizes relationship-building, wellness, and person-centered care beyond clinical tasks.

You will provide nursing services, coordinate with physicians and care plans, document promptly, and monitor vitals. A valid TN license, clean driving record, and ability to obtain required endorsements are

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN Nursing Program.
• Minimum one year of LPN clinical experience preferred.
• Experience working with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Social Security Card required.
• 3-year motor vehicle report acceptable.
• F endorsement on Driver's License, 30 days post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services for assigned individuals and support direct care staff.
• Communicate physician and nursing care plans to staff and implement MD/NP orders.
• Assist in examination and treatment by obtaining medical history and information.
• Monitor documentation and complete all required forms timely.
• Transcribe information onto individuals' chart records.
• Take vital signs and glucose monitoring as required by physician.
• Respond to individuals in acute distress.
