Job summary

Open Arms Care Corporation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 7am-7pm shift in Ooltewah, TN. This full-time position offers a compassionate, team-based environment focused on helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live healthier, safer, and more independent lives.

You will administer medications, monitor health conditions, respond to medical concerns, and support physician orders while training staff on health-related needs and participating in ISPs

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Tennessee.
• Valid driver’s license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• PCM certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to lift and assist with mobility needs up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor health conditions, vital signs, and documentation.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies.
• Support physician appointments and follow physician orders.
• Train and support staff on health-related needs.
• Participate in ISPs and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Assist with daily living needs when necessary.
• Help ensure the safety, health, and well-being of the individuals we serve.
