Job summary

Liberty Commons of Alamance County is seeking an experienced Support Nurse - LPN to join our care team. The role supports nursing staff on a unit, assists in resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and may involve on-call coverage for staffing needs.

Candidates must hold an active NC LPN license, maintain CPR certification, and participate in ongoing staff trainings. A 7500$ sign-on bonus is offered for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in North Carolina.
• CPR certification required yearly and attendance at in-service training.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff on unit and support charge nurse/Director of Nursing.
• May be required to take call for staffing coverage.
• Provide resident care under RN supervision and delegate to non-licensed staff.
• Participate in QA data collection and infection control activities.
• Assist with admissions assessments, nursing summaries, and rounds.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to attending MD or RN.
