Job summary

Liberty Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Lumberton, North Carolina. The role involves assisting with nursing services under RN supervision, delegating tasks, and monitoring patient conditions, with a bold $15,000 sign-on bonus.

You must hold an NC LPN license, be CPR certified, and be willing to cover emergencies and serve as charge nurse as needed. High school diploma required and national nursing standards followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and license renewal every two years.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and cover emergencies to ensure adequate staffing.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow physicians’ orders, and care for geriatric patients.
• CPR certified yearly.

Responsibilities

• Assists in direction of nursing services for unit/hall under RN supervision.
• Delegates duties to nursing staff and monitors performance under RN supervision.
• Observes patients for changes in condition and adverse reactions.
• Notifies attending physician of emergencies and changes in orders, and implements physician orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
