Job summary

Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga, NY is seeking an LPN Supervisor Weekend Warrior to lead nursing staff, oversee resident care, and ensure compliance with clinical standards. The role is weekend nights 7:00pm–7:30am, with a pay range of $32–$34 per hour and a sign-on bonus.

In this fast-paced leadership position you will mentor staff, coordinate medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and uphold infection control and regulatory practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid NYS LPN license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support nursing staff.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and support high-quality resident care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing services as ordered.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure proper documentation and communication.
• Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and the team on care plans.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to nursing staff for growth and teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and outcomes.
• Address clinical concerns and staffing issues to ensure continuity of care.

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred
• Valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License required
• Current CPR Certification required
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead, mentor, and support nursing staff
