Elite Rehabilitation and Care Center in Vestavia Hills seeks an RN Administrator to lead nursing operations and advocate for residents and staff. The role focuses on directing nursing assistants, coordinating care, and ensuring accurate documentation.

You will oversee medication administration, physician orders, and staffing needs, while maintaining compliance and quality of care for residents across short- and long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Perform essential nursing duties.
• Perform administrative duties such as charting and completing medical forms and reports.
• Receive physicians’ orders.
• Order medications, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Prepare and administer medications as necessary.
• Notify charge nurse of drug and narcotic discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy of narcotics records for the shift.
• Inform charge nurse of staffing needs.
• Responsible for comprehensive nursing care.
