Job summary

Community Bridges is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct clinical care at the Sobering and Deflection Center in Oregon. Under Medical Director supervision, you will perform screenings, observations, CLIA‑waived tests and administer comfort medications to stabilize participants.

The role emphasizes trauma‑informed, person‑centered care and diversion from EDs and the criminal justice system, with preference for experience in sobering settings or related behavioral health

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in Oregon.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Eligibility to perform CLIA-waived testing under organizational CLIA certificate.
• Knowledge of substance use intoxication and withdrawal.
• Trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
• Preferred: Sobering/detoxification center, ED/urgent care, behavioral health or SUD experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care in Sobering and Deflection Center.
• Perform medical screening, clinical observation and CLIA‑waived testing.
• Administer approved comfort medications for participant safety and stabilization.
• Support diversion from emergency departments and the criminal justice system.
• Deliver care grounded in trauma-informed, person-centered practice.
