Job summary

Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at Branford Hills in Branford, CT seeks immediate Licensed Practical Nurses for Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem roles. The facility features a 190-bed unit within a Five-Star skilled nursing and rehabilitative care setting.

As an LPN, you will observe patient conditions, administer medications, document thoroughly, and collaborate with RNs, physicians, and unlicensed staff. New grads welcome; $1000 sign-on, competitive benefits, 401k, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in CT and up-to-date BLS/CPR certifications.
• New graduates welcome; prior skilled nursing facility experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Observe conditions and report changes to Registered Nurse Supervisor.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per MD orders.
• Communicate effectively to Registered Nurse Supervisor and/or Physician.
• Thoroughly document pertinent patient information.
• Perform medication counts.
• Communicate effectively to unlicensed staff and provide mentorship as part of a team.
• Promote a culture of safety and security to ensure a healthy living environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive Protected Health Information (PHI).
