Job summary

The Gardens Health is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Daytona Beach, FL.

Qualifications

• Active Florida LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Current/active CPR certification.
• Excellent clinical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with confidentiality.
• Ability to work as part of a team and align with company objectives.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document resident progress in the medical record.
• Monitor turning and positioning of residents.
• Obtain changes in physician orders as indicated by progress.
• Communicate resident information to charge nurses and Director of Nursing.
• Maintain clean treatment cart and restock supplies.
• Follow Infection Control policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document pressure sore status as condition changes.
• Assist in inventory of medications and supplies.
• Participate in educational programs for residents and families.
• Participate in Quality Improvement activities.
