Job summary

Rockville Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing facility team. The ideal candidate holds a NY LPN license, can evaluate and treat independently, and is committed to geriatric care.

Shift 7AM-3PM, every other weekend required. Salary up to $40/hour with benefits including medical, dental and vision, insurance, and various employee perks such as KinderCare discount and Plum Benefits.

Qualifications

• Current NY LPN license.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently.
• Experience in geriatric population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcomes.
• Providing resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs.
