Job summary

Durand Senior Care & Rehab in Michigan is seeking a qualified LPN to join our EPIC team. You will provide specialized nursing care across orthopedics, cardio, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology, using the latest technology within a strong interdisciplinary team.

You will have a current LPN license for Michigan and CPR certification, with an associate or bachelor degree or higher.

Qualifications

• Michigan LPN license with current CPR certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative Care.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with guests, families, and visitors.
• Perform treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications and treatment plans.
• Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Oversee the CNA team including directing assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.

Our Skilled Nurses provide specialized care to patients in a variety of areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology. You will earn:

Start at $41.40 on Nights!

• Starting Wages: $29.00 - $33.00 based on years licensed,
• PLUS $5.00 shift premium 7p-7a
• PLUS $3.40 Hero Pay
• Yearly Wage Increases

• 12 hour shifts - All shifts include rotating weekends (every other weekend) and some holidays

How You Will Help People Every Day

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• A current license to practice as an LPN Michigan; current CPR certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
