Job summary

The Laurels of Heath is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. Full‑time positions are available on days and nights, 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am. A $7,500 sign‑on bonus is offered for qualifying full‑time hires.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of long‑term care experience preferred or not required.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of Ohio is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Must be able to supervise CNAs and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care called for by CNAs and STNA staff and other team members.
• Provide nursing care to residents on the unit with appropriate care.
• Deliver safe medication-related interventions to residents.
• Assess residents' health, notify physician of changes, and implement orders.
• Develop and implement a plan of care based on assessment.
• Institute nursing interventions to stabilize conditions and prevent complications.
• Contribute to MDS/CAA assessments and care planning.
