Job summary

The Laurels of Carson City is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation care team. You will provide nursing care, education and support to residents as part of a compassionate, dedicated staff.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Michigan.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care and health education for guests.
• Supervise CNAs/STNAs and other care team members.
• Administer and monitor medications safely and accurately.
• Assess guests' health and promptly notify physicians of changes.
• Implement orders and stabilize conditions as needed.
• Contribute to assessments (MDS/CAA) and care plans.
