Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Sayville, NY is hiring an LPN Supervisor to oversee nurses, HHA's and medication staff in the Wellness/Resident Services Center. You will supervise shifts and provide ADL support and medication administration with kindness and professionalism.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license, has supervisory and medication oversight experience, and understands MARs/doctors orders.

Qualifications

• Must have staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment
• You must have an active LPN certification and be driven by a genuine desire to improve the quality of life of our residents
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
• Must be caring, reliable and observant with an understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders
• It’s essential to excel in prioritizing, multi-tasking and working independently

Responsibilities

• Oversee, mentor and nurture a team of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides and medication technicians
• Manage ADLs support and medication administration
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director
• Adhere to policies, procedures and MAR orders
• Deliver compassionate, safety-focused resident care
