Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and licensed by the State.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Previous nursing experience desirable.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and laws.
• Knowledge of regulations governing long-term care desirable.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
• Follow directions from the RN, Director of Nursing Services and Administration.
• Maintain the highest quality of care.
