Job summary

Arbors at Springfield seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to coordinate and provide nursing care for residents and supervise clinical staff.

Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program with a valid state license and CPR certification is required; one year of nursing experience is preferred. Competitive wages and flexible scheduling are offered with pay options including daily, weekly, or bi-weekly advances.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
• Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
• Valid CPR certification.
• One year experience in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Assigns nursing care to team members per resident needs and qualifications.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates junior staff and CNAs.
• Administers medications and treatments and documents as required by rules.
• Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Ensures supplies are used economically and equipment is maintained safely.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
