Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking an LPN to provide quality nursing care to residents in an assisted living community. Qualifications

• Current LPN license to practice in the state where the community is located.
• Experience working with the senior population, preferably in assisted living or LTC.
• Must be a team player who works well with others and has experience supervising staff.
• Must possess critical thinking skills, ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently with strong organizational skills.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work an 8-16 hour flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Must attend all required trainings, CEU's and staff meetings.
• Must be certified or willing to take and pass the certification class required by the state in which employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care and services to residents in a respectful and dignified manner.
• Coordinate physical, social, and emotional aspects of assisted living care as per physician orders and resident choices.
• Administer medications and review documentation; communicate changes to the physician.
• Continuously assess resident needs and update care plans accordingly.
• Monitor wellness and safety and document measures taken.
• Work in a team to meet resident needs and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Report incidents and changes in resident condition to Healthcare Director with proper documentation.
• Assist with meals delivery, monitor diet acceptance, and ensure adequate nutrition.
• Maintain high standards of record-keeping and documentation across departments.
• Provide thorough shift-change reports and mentor CNAs/RMAs as needed.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings; adhere to policies and procedures.
