Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide professional care for residents at our facility. The role involves medication administration, care planning, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in a long-term care setting.

Applicants must hold an active LPN license and have completed an accredited practical nursing program; an associate degree is preferred. The position offers a robust benefits package and weekend shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required at time of hire.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• IV therapy/management training required in North Dakota per policy.
• Must have completed a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN at another facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to residents under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident care, outcomes, and education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to plan and adjust care.
• Counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment plans.
