Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse to support students in a school-based setting in St. Francis, Minnesota. This role focuses on delivering nursing care, monitoring chronic conditions, administering medications, responding to health concerns, and documenting care.

Collaboration with school staff, families, and healthcare providers is essential to ensure student well-being and a safe learning environment throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working with children or students with special healthcare needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and health support to students throughout the school day.
• Monitor students with chronic medical conditions and ongoing healthcare needs.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies.
• Respond to illnesses, injuries, and other student health concerns.
• Assist with student health plans and maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Collaborate with school nurses, teachers, special education staff, families, and healthcare providers.
• Promote a safe and supportive school environment for all students.
