Job summary

PanCare of Florida is seeking a skilled and compassionate School Health Nurse (LPN) to join our School Health team. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to students under supervision and support the development of clinical programs designed to ensure the operational success of the School Health program.

The successful candidate will have an active Florida LPN license, NCLEX-PN completion, and prior healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the NCLEX-PN (National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses).
• Active LPN license for the State of Florida.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Following and enforcing school policies and procedures affecting health, safety and well-being of students and staff.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Performs routine diagnostic tests and treatments (temperature, pulse, BP, dressings, EKGs, diabetic care).
• Maintains patient charts and documentation per School Health program requirements.
• Performs CPR/AED as needed.
