Job summary

Rosewood Rehab and Healthcare Center seeks a Wound Nurse/ RN (WCC, WOCN) to join our team in Independence, MO. The role focuses on direct wound care, patient education, and coordinating care with physicians and CNAs.

The ideal candidate has wound care experience; certification is preferred but not required. Day shift, Mon-Fri, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. PTO from day one and strong management support are offered.

Qualifications

• Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee staff wound treatments.

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri.
• Complete wound treatments for residents in skilled nursing facility.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate resident condition.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Coordinate with wound care providers, oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
• Provide resident specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.
