Job summary

Luxor Healthcare is seeking a Wound Care Nurse / RN or LPN (WCC, WOCN) to join our team in Missouri. This role involves direct nursing care, wound treatments, and care plan implementation in a skilled nursing facility.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN or LPN license with some wound care experience. Certifications are preferred but not required, with 1–3 months of related experience. Join a team focused on patient outcomes and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and Missouri state rules.

• Monitor, record, and communicate resident condition.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
• Provide resident-specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.
• Duties include medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents’ care, and schedules.

Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse / RN or LPN (WCC, WOCN):

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri

• Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility

• Implement and monitor patient care plans

• Monitor, record, and communicate resident condition

• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
