Job summary

Beauvais Rehab and Healthcare in Missouri is seeking a Wound Care Nurse / LPN (WCC, WOCN) to join our team. You will provide direct nursing care and complete wound treatments in a skilled nursing facility, while implementing and monitoring patient care plans.

Responsibilities include documenting, monitoring resident condition, carrying out physician and nursing orders, coordinating with wound care providers, and educating CNAs and nurses on wound care and prevention.

Qualifications

• One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent education/experience.
• Certification preferred but not required.
• Some wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities of Wound Care Nurse / LPN (WCC, WOCN)

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri.

• Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate resident condition.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments.
• Provide resident-specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention.

Wound Care Nurse / LPN (WCC, WOCN) duties include medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents' care, and implementation of schedules for residents.
