Job summary

Riverwood Health and Rehabilitation seeks a skilled LPN/RN Weekend Supervisor to oversee weekend care for residents in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. The role emphasizes coordinating LPNs and CNAs, rounds for quality oversight, and collaboration with physicians and therapists to maintain high standards of care.

The ideal candidate has Florida licensure (LPN/RN), at least 3 years in long-term care, and proven leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of LPNs and CNAs in providing care on weekends
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure quality of care and identify areas for improvement
• Participate in the development and implementation of care plans and treatment programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Monitor and maintain accurate records including incident reports and resident assessments
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
• Provide emotional support and guidance to residents, families, and staff members

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of LPNs and CNAs in providing exceptional care to residents on weekends
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure quality of care and identify areas for improvement
• Participate in the development and implementation of care plans and treatment programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Monitor and maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports, medication administration records, and resident assessments
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures
• Provide emotional support and guidance to residents, families, and staff members

Requirements

• Currently licensed as an LPN/RN in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a long-term care setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Must be willing to work weekends and flexible hours
