Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living is seeking compassionate LPNs and RNs to join our Hillcrest Cottages nursing team in Papillion, NE. This full-time evening shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm) includes every other weekend, offering a stable schedule and opportunities to impact resident lives daily.

You'll provide direct nursing care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, administer medications, monitor conditions, and support a resident-centered environment at Hillcrest Cottages, part of the Hillcrest

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active LPN or RN license in Nebraska.
  • CPR certification preferred or required based on community standards.
  • Previous senior living, long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and Hillcrest policies and procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely within scope of practice.
  • Monitor resident condition and report changes to appropriate clinical leadership, physicians, and family members as needed.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation.
  • Support resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing communication with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for compassionate and dedicated LPNs and RNs to join our nursing team at Hillcrest Cottages in Papillion, NE.


Hillcrest Cottages is part of Hillcrest Country Estates, a continuing care retirement community designed to support aging adults through a full continuum of care. Located on the Hillcrest Country Estates campus in Papillion, the Cottages provide a warm, resident-centered environment where team members can build meaningful relationships while delivering high-quality care.

What You’ll Do

As an LPN/RN, you will provide direct nursing care and clinical support to residents while working closely with nursing leadership, caregivers, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. This role is ideal for a nurse who values teamwork, resident-centered care, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact each shift.


You will help ensure residents receive safe, timely, and compassionate care while supporting the overall quality, comfort, and daily experience of those who call Hillcrest Cottages home.


You Will

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and Hillcrest policies and procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely within scope of practice.
  • Monitor resident condition and report changes to appropriate clinical leadership, physicians, and family members as needed.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation.
  • Support resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing communication with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide guidance and support to CNAs, medication aides, and other care team members.
  • Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of life.
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to resident needs, clinical changes, and urgent situations.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and supportive care environment.
  • Follow infection control, safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Ideal Candidates Will Have

  • Current LPN or RN license in the state of Nebraska.
  • Previous senior living, long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work well with residents, families, team members, and providers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate documentation.
  • A calm, flexible, and professional approach in stressful situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality care.
  • Comfort using technology and clinical resources efficiently and effectively.
  • A team-first mindset and commitment to resident-centered care.

Education & Credentials
