Role Summary

Seeking a caring leader to oversee nursing staff, support planning and development of nursing services, and ensure quality resident care.

Responsibilities

1. Support the Director of Nursing in managing the nursing department in compliance with regulations.
2. Develop and update policies for nursing operations.
3. Coordinate nursing services with other resident care programs.
4. Determine staffing needs and assist in scheduling.
5. Supervise nursing staff and ensure proper care is provided.
6. Review nurses’ notes for accuracy and compliance.
7. Incorporate training materials into in-service programs.
8. Lead educational initiatives within the center.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license
• Experience in long-term care
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Current first aid and CPR certification
• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred
