Job summary

John Knox Village is seeking an LPN to perform direct resident care under RN supervision. You will conduct nursing assessments, follow the care plan, and evaluate patient responses to treatment while supporting the Village mission.

The position requires a two-week rotating schedule (7a–7p) on the Blue Team at the Village Care Center, with duties including medications, vitals, wound care, and documentation. Possession of an active LPN license in Missouri and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited School of Nursing.
• LPN license must be current with Missouri State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to direct patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct resident/patient care per plan and departmental services.
• Reports changes and needs to RN or management promptly.
• Completes nursing documentation to meet state and Village requirements.
• May delegate tasks to care givers and follow up.
• May perform homemaking and environmental services when needed.
