Job summary

John Knox Village is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN shifts at Village Care Center. The RN provides professional nursing services under physicians’ orders, and plans, implements, and evaluates patient care while adhering to PRIDE values.

Responsibilities

• Assess conditions, process physicians’ orders, provide treatments and administer prescribed drugs.
• Coordinate nursing care and educate patients/residents and families about care.
• Delegate aspects of nursing care to staff and evaluate delivery of care.
• Document patient progress and nursing care accurately and promptly.
• Complete required documentation to meet state and Village requirements.
• Report patient changes and needs to appropriate staff.
