Job summary

NHC HealthCare Columbia is inviting compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our day shift nursing team at Columbia, TN. This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a patient-centered work environment focused on quality care.

As an RN or LPN, you will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and contribute to individualized care plans while ensuring compliance with regulations and center policies.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in Tennessee or a valid multistate/compact license allowing Tennessee practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per physician orders and care plans.
• Assess patient and resident needs and monitor condition changes.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate changes in condition to physicians and care team.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants and other staff.
• Assist with developing and implementing care plans.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and NHC policies.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment.

NHC HealthCare Columbia is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team on day shift. As an RN or LPN, you will play an important role in providing high-quality nursing care and supporting positive outcomes for our patients and residents.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and established nursing standards.
• Assess patient and resident needs and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within the scope of practice.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate changes in condition to physicians, nursing leadership, and appropriate members of the care team.
