Job summary

NHC HealthCare Dickson is seeking a caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team in Dickson, Tennessee. This role delivers hands-on nursing care under nursing leadership and the interdisciplinary team.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, competitive pay ranging from $23 to $35 per hour, 8- or 12-hour shifts, and a culture focused on compassion, growth, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Tennessee LPN license required or multistate/compact license
• Graduate of approved practical nursing program
• GNs and GPNs encouraged to apply
• Current CPR certification as required
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
• Heart for serving geriatric population with honesty and integrity

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per physician orders, plans of care, and nursing standards.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Observe, evaluate, and report changes in patient condition.
• Complete required nursing documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, residents, and families.
• Assist in implementing individualized plans of care.
• Provide direction and support to nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Follow infection control, safety, regulatory, and NHC policies and procedures.
• Promote a compassionate, respectful, and supportive care environment.
