Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking an RN or LPN to provide cardiac telemetry patient care during night shifts. You will use the nursing process to deliver safe, effective care and collaborate with the care team.

Requirements include graduation from nursing program and active RN license (or compact) with BLS within 30 days. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details:

RN/LPN - Cardiac Tele- PT Nights (24/hr weekly)

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
