Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN for Cardiac Telemetry, PRN coverage. You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and protect patient rights and confidentiality. You will be professionally accountable for care provided to assigned patients, contributing to Mercy's mission and standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous evaluation of care effectiveness, and adaptability to shift needs within Mercy's cardiac unit.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing with an RN license.
• RN licensure in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.

Position Details:

Education:

Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Licensure:

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
