Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately.

• Monitor fluid balance and chart results.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Administer medications, injections, enemas, and wound care.
• Collect specimens for lab tests as assigned.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
