The Arc of Greater Prince William / INSIGHT, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our residential group home team in the Manassas area.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with a morning schedule and responsibilities for implementing physician orders and providing person-centered nursing care. You will monitor residents' health, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support the overall well-being of individuals with IDD.

Qualifikationen

• Current, active LPN license in Virginia.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication, clinical observation, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of medication administration and nursing practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff, management, and Direct Support Professionals.
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete background checks, TB screening, and mandatory training.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct nursing care per physician orders and established care plans.
• Monitor health conditions, vital signs, glucose, skin integrity, and indicators.
• Identify and promptly communicate changes to the Registered Nurse.
• Review MARs and treatment documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with pharmacies and managers to ensure medications are available.
• Educate DSPs on medical needs and care protocols.
• Assist with medical appointments and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation per policies and Medicaid standards.
• Promote infection control and safety practices.
• Collaborate with nursing and program teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned by leadership.
