Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved school of practical nursing or completion of a U.S. Armed Forces Practical Nursing Program.
• Licensed by state of Michigan.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• IV training module and competency evaluation within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Applies the nursing process in provision of resident care.
• Performs resident assessments and collects data needed to complete assessments, Minimum Data Set and Care Area Assessments.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the formulation of a resident plan of care and its revisions; and participates in team and family conferences as needed.
