Job summary

Core Healthcare in McMurray, PA is seeking staff to maintain continuity of resident care, assist with planning with health professionals and families, and provide physical and emotional support. You will observe changes, document physician visits, and assist with admissions/transfers/discharges.

Role includes assisting physicians and RNs, supervising nurse aides, and responding to emergencies with sound judgment.

Qualifications

• Assist planning and exchange of information with health professionals and families.
• Provide physical and emotional support to residents.
• Observe and report significant changes in resident condition.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Assist physicians and RNs in performing procedures.
• Document changes, physician visits, and provide monthly activity summaries.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate judgment.
• Supervise nurse aides and coordinate quality care.
• Complete Incident/Accident Reports as necessary.
• Provide general resident care and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Assist Physician and RN in performing specialized procedures.
• Document changes in condition, physician visits, and provide a monthly summary of resident activities.
• Respond to emergency situations competently and calmly, exercise appropriate judgment.
• Provide direct supervision to the nurse aides and assist in planning and coordinating quality care.
• Complete Incident/Accident Reports as necessary.
• Provide general individual resident care and treatments.
