Job summary

Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a rotating shift, PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct, safe nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. You will contribute to established patient care standards and hospital policies within LPN licensure guidelines.

The role requires graduation from a practical nursing program, an NM license (or multi-state compact within 90 days), and certifications including BLS and CPR to begin

Qualifications

• Graduate from a practical nursing program.
• Valid NM RN License or valid multi-state compact license (within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• CPR

Responsibilities

• The LPN under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy.
• Performs general nursing tasks.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
