Job summary

Lovelace Health System is seeking a Night Shift Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Albuquerque, NM. The role supports the medical-surgical team with direct patient care and adherence to nursing standards.

Under RN or physician supervision, you will perform general nursing tasks, ensure patient safety, and follow hospital policies and procedures. Preferred candidates have 1 year of experience and hold valid NM or compact licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a practical nursing program.
• Valid NM RN License or valid multi-state compact license (within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• CPR

Responsibilities

• The LPN under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, provides direct, safe, appropriate, and effective nursing care to designated patients in accordance with patient needs, current standards of nursing practice, and organizational policies within the scope of LPN Licensure and hospital policy.

• Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque’s Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear Nose, and Throat (ENT), bariatric, and orthopedic service lines.
