Job summary
Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, Minnesota is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN/on-call shifts across days, evenings and nights. Requirements include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, current LPN license in Minnesota, and active CEU/compliance.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the North Dakota requirement applies.
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span or have at least 400 hours of LPN experience.
- Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license in Minnesota and maintains required competencies and CEU.
- Good Samaritan is an EEO/AA Employer; drug screen and background check required.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
- Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and the care team.
