Job summary

Good Samaritan in Auburn, NE is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN long-term care. Shifts are 8 hours with travel within a 75‑mile radius to support multiple locations.

The LPN will provide nursing care under supervision, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited LPN program and an active LPN license; 3–6 months LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• If position requires IV therapy/management skills, applicable North Dakota requirement referenced but not necessarily applicable to Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long term care.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and standards of care.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medications, behavior, activity and diet.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families and interdisciplinary team, maintaining confidentiality.
