Job summary

Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, Minnesota, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN/on-call shifts across days, evenings and nights. You will provide professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to support resident health and safety.

Graduates of an accredited practical nursing program with MN licensure are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with LPN licensure in Minnesota.
• IV therapy/management training may be required in North Dakota.
• Must have completed a pre-licensure nursing program with clinical experience or 400 hours as an LPN.
• Unencumbered LPN license and possible multi-state licensure privileges; maintain competencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for LTC residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to support resident health.
• Maintain confidentiality and clear communication with residents and families.
