Job summary

Good Samaritan – Bethany in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting. This PRN/on-call position offers flexible shifts (days, evenings, nights) and requires availability for six shifts per month, including two weekend shifts and holiday rotation.

Additional incentives apply for weekend and after-hours hours. Qualified candidates must be a licensed LPN in Minnesota, with an accredited nursing program diploma.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; LPN license required in Minnesota.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered LPN license and ability to obtain required competencies.
• IV therapy/management requirements may apply in North Dakota.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate clearly within interdisciplinary team.
• Support resident education and self-care plans.
