Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse to support nursing services in the SNF department. The role involves day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a base pay of $29.79 per hour plus applicable differentials.

A 30-hour IV course and BLS are required, and incumbents may float within HPCC as needed. The nurse will document treatments, assist with assessments and care planning under RN supervision, and collaborate with multiple disciplines to deliver

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited vocational school of nursing.
At least one year of nursing experience required; one year preferred in acute care.
Must be able to float throughout the HPCC as needed.
30-hour IV course required and current BLS certification.
LPN licensure in the State of Florida is required.
Strong communication, interpersonal, computer, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Performs and documents selected acts such as administration of treatments and medications under RN guidance.
Assists the RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care and outcomes.
Supports quality nursing care and customer service improvements.
