Job summary

Quality Correctional Health Care in Lincoln County seeks an LPN to provide nursing care in a correctional environment on the Day Shift. Under supervision of the Site Administrator/Coordinator, you will deliver nursing services within the scope of the LPN practice.

Pay is $28 per hour with benefits including malpractice insurance, 401K matching, PayActiv, and more. Requirements include a valid LPN license, CPR, and at least one year of clinical experience; correctional health care experience

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license (LPN/LVN).
• CPR certification current and valid.
• Completion of an accredited vocational/technical program.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience as an LPN.

Responsibilities

• Respond and intervene in all emergency situations.
• Conduct patient intake paperwork.
• Verify and obtain orders for patient medication.
• Conduct sick call clinics and chronic care support.
• Order or maintain supply of patient medications.
• Administer medications per nursing standards and corrections rules.
