Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Daytona Beach is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 patient care for pediatric and/or adult clients.

Ventilator experience is preferred but in-house training is offered; various shifts include 8- to 12-hour days, nights, and weekends. Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN or LVN in the state where practice is required.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care team and document nursing diagnoses.
