Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Deltona, FL is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-to-one care for pediatric and/or adult patients in a 1:1 setting. Ventilator experience is preferred but in-house training is provided, with 8- to 12-hour night and weekend shifts available, some with higher pay.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and documenting patient data. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• TB test or Chest X‑Ray current.
• BLS certification current.
• One year nursing experience preferred.

• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
